Beyond the dance floor, Arun is also a published author. His debut book, Rhythm of the Barrio: Migration, Identity and the Evolution of Salsa, explores how Salsa travelled across continents, absorbed diverse cultures, and evolved into a universal language of belonging and identity. Drawing on his own journey from Chennai to Europe and his years of immersion in global dance communities, the book is a compelling read for dancers, educators, and anyone fascinated by how movement shapes culture. Rhythm of the Barrio is available now on Amazon.
